Ustovo - 25 July 1929.  Ustovo, Bulgaria

Dear (literally: honoured) Mrs. Ivanova: We gave both your letters to your granddaughter, the daughter of Lushkin. Only she was at home - the others were in the baths (public baths). We passed through these baths but couldn't find them, they had gone.

For now we are in Ustovo at [the home of] our mother. We will stay two more weeks, after that we go to Jambol, Plovdiv, Trojan, Sofia, Kjustendil and after that USA.

All here is rather nice; although mother is 75 she still works around the house. She will live 100 years if not longer. We saw/met everybody with the exception of one brother and he will be here soon, for now he is in Greece. At our return to Sofia we will try to see again the  grandchildren. A lot of health from me and Draga to all of you out there.

When you look at this card remember when we sat together beneath the walnut tree, after the end of exams. We are reading your love letters from your mother and your sister, also you.

Mrs. Ivanova, It is a pleasure for me to call from Bulgaria. On this photo you will see beautiful Rila Monastery, where we were on vacation for several days. On the Korusnin photo you will see also our company. For now we are all  very well. We only think how to go and how to spend more cheerfully. Please send my regards, especially Mrs. Stuart (my teacher) and everybody who asks about me. Tell them I am receiving their letters for which I thank them very much. You may also write to me when you have time and if you wish, of course.

Regards my dear, Evdokija.
